Is Apatar easy to use?

Apatar is user-friendly, and for even a non-technical user it would take just a couple of hours to get trained. Most users will find it intuitive, with on-line help to guide them, if required, althoughsome business users with limited technical skills may need to have some of the basic techniques explained to them. This can take anything from two to five hours depending on what they wish to do. Training to perform complex transformations may take up to three to five days. The training can be delivered either on-site or over the web.

What are the advantages of Apatar ?

Apatar has developed sophisticated techniques to ensure that the data integration achieved during "drag and drop" is 100% accurate. Apatar is Unicode-compliant, which means that it can handle any language, including languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic that use multibyte character sets.

Does Apatar support client-server deployments?

Apatar has been designed with a server component and repository that can be shared across multiple clients.

Can Apatar server run in a multi-threaded fashion optimizing performance levels?

Apatar generates XML metadata files that store all the information captured by the Apatar designer and mapping graphical user interfaces. The Apatar engine manages, executes, and controls the total project execution plan described in XML metadata files. In addition, for each executed job, Apatar generates a detailed report/log. This metadata-centric approach makes it easy to adapt to changes in the external environment and also to promote reuse at every level. Users can share XML metadata files to re-use connectivity settings, transformation, and mapping. You can send XML metadata files to another user with Apatar desktop application or feed XML metadata file to Apatar server engine to save time and money while integrating data.

Can I develop a connector for my data source (target)?

The open source code of Apatar allows easy building of add-on connectors for any data integration applications, be it legacy, APIs or semi-structured data sources (targets).
